Almond cookie dough protein bars

I think I just might let the title for this one speak for itself. These are totally delicious and super easy to make. I like to store mine in the freezer as it makes them last longer and you don't even have to thaw them before eating!

Ingredients:

100g chocolate

100g almond butter

50g rice malt syrup

60g almond flour

30g plant milk

50g vegan protein powder (I used salted caramel but use whichever flavour you prefer)


Add all ingredients apart from the chocolate to a bowl and mix until well combined. Chop 50g of the chocolate and mix through. Pack the "cookie dough" into a tray lined with parchment paper and set it in the fridge to cool. Melt the remaining chocolate and spread on top. Leave back in the fridge to cool until the chocolate is fully set. Slice as you like and serve!
