It's açai season here in Australia and I'm fully taking advantage of it by making myself a weekly açai bowl. Here's one I created recently with some berry coconut protein powder I was gifted by a company for my birthday! It was so refreshing so I highly recommend giving this one a go.
Ingredients: 40g frozen blueberries
50g frozen mango
40g frozen strawberries
150g frozen banana
50g açai puree (1/2 pack)
10g berry coconut protein powder (I used BscClean)* Suggested toppings: Coconut yoghurt, peanut butter, chia seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds and fresh fruit.
Blend All of your ingredients together in a high speed blender and add to a bowl. Top with whatever toppings you want/have available and enjoy!
*You can also substitute this with another protein powder or omit completely, and add a bit of coconut milk/coconut yoghurt if you still want the coconut flavour.
