Strawberry and Mango Acai Bowl
In my humble opinion, mango and strawberry are the most summery fruits (potentially because I'm allergic to most of the others), and as such I had to make them the main players in an acai bowl because that really is my favourite breakfast to have in the summer months. Of course you can alter this recipe according to your needs, add more protein powder to make it higher in protein or sub it for some vanilla extract or skip it all together if you don't have any. Add a different flavour of protein powder too if you feel so inclined! And of course, have fun and experiment with the toppings as you wish!
100g frozen banana
100g frozen acai puree
100g frozen mango
60g frozen strawberry
50g coconut yoghurt
15g vegan vanilla protein
Toppings: Fresh mango, fresh strawberries, hemp seeds, chia seeds, blackberries, coconut yoghurt.
Method: Put all ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth and add to a bowl. Top with your favourite toppings and dig in!
